Twenty three foreign journalists from eleven countries visited the University of Pennsylvania’s Krishna P. Singh Center for Nanotechnology Research, one of the world’s premier nanotechnology R&D institutions. This one-day reporting tour explored the basics of nanotechnology research and the wide range of nanotech applications. The tour also provided media with excellent photo and video opportunities of the Singh Center’s award-winning architecture and laboratories, as well as access to the leading researchers in this emerging field. Scientists explained how developing nanoscale materials can lead to breakthroughs in medicine, chemicals, and even invisibility.
