Fifteen NY-based foreign journalists visited the Earth Institute and Lenfast Center for Sustainable Energy at Columbia University in advance of Earth Day. Reporters met with faculty who are conducting cutting-edge research to understand how humans are contributing to climate change; the impacts of climate change on people, communities, and ecosystems; and ways to address and minimize those impacts. Briefers also discussed the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the findings of its working groups, and potential impacts of the findings on policy.
