Some 60 foreign journalists representing outlets from 12 countries covered the November 13 grand opening of 4 World Trade Center (WTC), the first office tower to be built on the original 16-acre WTC site. The NYFPC collaborated with Rubenstein Communications to coordinate foreign media access to the ribbon-cutting event at which Mayor Bloomberg and other WTC project developers spoke. Journalists in attendance witnessed the official opening ceremony, interviewed guest speakers and project experts, and allowed rare access to the 68th floor of this new 72-story skyscraper.
