Journalists from China, Japan, Switzerland and Korea attended a briefing on July 25 at the Harlem Biospace, a new business incubator for biotech entrepreneurs. Biospace founder, Dr. Samuel Sia, Ph.D. and NYC Economic Development Corp. Lenzie Harcum discussed investor interest in biotech companies, and the wet-lab and equipment requirements of biotech research. This program was part of the NYFPC's summer series on health information technology and biotechnology start-ups sparked by the Affordable Care Act and other USG health initiatives and incentives.
